Our New Wool throw collection - made in the UK - is all about comfort, style and quality. We speak with the designer to find out what inspires the range and how they are made. Jessica talks us through what makes the Tweedmill brand so special
Tweedmill Textiles was established over 40 years ago. The Mill is situated on the edge of the River Dee next to a castle in the old historic town of Flint, Wales. The brand is inspired by the colours and serenity of their location with local forests and nature reserves. They are renowned for their quality, innovation and reliability
Tweedmill likes to blend the old with the new, weaving classic designs in contemporary colours. Over the years they have expanded into many different product ranges, from tweed luggage to small furnishings. Jessica says: ''Our speciality is Pure New Wool Throws, which is what separates us from the rest. We take pride in the fact that we are a UK based manufacturer.''
''We recycle as much yarn as we can, and now do a ‘Recycled Range’ to help the environment and create a truly unique product'' The pieces have their own individual charm as each batch of recycled material shows a different colour count and combination
She adds: ''We have a lot of new ideas and hope to progress the brand further in the future, so watch this space…''
The Att Pynta range is focused around the Scandinavian aesthetic. We have kept our collection contemporary, elegant and modern while maintaining the British heritage style thanks to Tweedmill's UK based mills and quality craftsmanship
