Linen roman blind - Oat Yellow - Blackout Lined

The oat yellow linen roman blinds are crafted using a premium Spanish linen fabric and fitted with a blackout lining. They are perfect for adding some privacy and reducing light bleed in your room. The Roman blinds are designed to compliment our hanging curtains, perfect for bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms or a home office. Our blinds are all hand customised to the exact length and width you need. The widest width available in 230cm and the maximum length is 250cm. These blinds are reinforced by metal ribs, with rings at the back and fitted with a chrome ball chain. Tracks and fittings are included for suspension and can be fitted to either a wall or ceiling.

All blinds are sold as singles, not pairs. Fabrics are woven in Spain, a country well known for its traditional and vast experience in textile manufacturing, and hand finished in our atelier in Sweden.

Our woven linen is of the highest quality, made from 67% linen and 33% viscose for a soft and flowing drape. Due to linen's natural characteristics, slight variations in shade and texture may occur between fabric rolls.

The blackout lining is OEKO-TEX certified.

Do not wash or tumble dry.

For our blackout Roman blinds, a blackout lining is sewn onto the back of the fabric. There is a wide range of linings available for light blocking, categorized in industry terms from dim-out to black-out. We use black-out lining, which provides the highest level of light blockage.

To maintain colour and quality, we recommend vacuuming your blinds regularly. Use a soft brush attachment and gently run it along the fabric to remove dust and dirt that may otherwise penetrate the material. A steamer can be used to minimise creases that form over time.

To ensure maximum blackout efficiency, the blackout lining is sewn into the seams of the Roman blind. As these two textiles are made of completely different materials and textures, washing the entire blind could risk damaging the product. The blackout lining cannot be dry-cleaned.

For stains or dirt, we always recommend spot cleaning. Use warm water and a white cloth - dab gently onto the fabric and finish with a steamer. Allow the fabric to air dry.

Custom made to your exact length and width measurement (in cm).

As all Roman blinds are handmade, the final width/length may vary by +/- 1-2 cm from the ordered dimensions. If you want to fit your blind within a recess, deduct 2 cm from your width to ensure it fits comfortably. Please note that this may result in small gaps at the sides. Measure the length from the top of the recess down to the window sill and add 1cm to ensure it drops to the sill.

When the Roman blind is fully raised, its length is approximately 25–30 cm. If you want it to cover a smaller portion of your window, we recommend mounting it above the window frame.

The depth of the Roman blind is approximately 4.5 cm. This applies to Roman blinds with and without blackout lining, when installed using the included 3 cm brackets.

Here you'll find important guidelines on how high the cord should be positioned to keep your home safe for children.

Keep all cords and chains out of children's reach at all times.

Chain-operated blinds: the chain safety device must hold the chain under tension and be installed at least 150 cm above the floor.

Avoid placing cots, beds, or furniture near windows where children could climb up and reach the blind controls.

Regularly check that the mechanism functions as intended.
