Ton armchair 811 natural with cane
Part of the No. 811 collection designed in 1930 by Josef Hoffmann, this timeless chair will add a refined and unique addition to your dining table or home office. It boasts two staples of the Ton brand, the cane material that adorns its back and seat and the elegantly bent beechwood structure. These chairs are meticulously crafted using a traditional wood bending process – in the same factory that’s specialised in the technique since 1861. The bending wood process gives it strength, which means each piece lasts for generations. These chairs have a contemporary design as well as a timeless quality which looks beautiful to any style of home. They are ideal as a dining chair but also work well in a home office or bedroom.
This style is in a natural beech wood with armrests.

As early as the 19th century, Michael Thonet opened his first factory for the manufacture of his own designed chairs. The factory utilized a new self-developed production technology, which with the help of steam allowed Thonet to bend solid wood into soft shapes. The technology is used in the same way today, producing chairs that are elegant, light, durable and comfortable.
